It truly breaks my heart to see so many young people like this — hard, broken, and so willfully negative about the world. You have so much more to see, so much light, so much heart, so much happiness to experience whether it’s your own or someone else’s. There’s always going to be something more out there to reach for, love or friendship or just memories worth remembering and holding on to, to fill yourself up with, to keep the glass half full of hope that things can only go up, up, up from here.
